Nature is not free.
The food and clothing we need to live our daily lives all have a price.
There are some things we need, though, that don't have price tags attached to them. These are the blessings of nature produced by trees, rivers, and oceans. Are the benefits we receive from nature actually free?
Pavan Sukhdev once said, "Our biggest mistake was that we all thought nature was free." He has been trying to put a price on nature. He was a banker, but he became an environmental economist to raise people's awareness of the value of nature. He is involved in promoting harmony between nature and economic growth.
