Development of the Wildlife Conservation Framework and Practices

Have you ever heard of the Red List? It's very famous, so you may have heard of it on the news or in class. The Red List is a list of threatened species. Created by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), it is an essential source of information on the current situation of wild animals worldwide. The researcher who played a central role in making the Red List what it is today is Dr. Simon Stuart, a biologist.

Dr. Stuart was entrusted to undertake the difficult task of bringing many scientists together to make the Red List scientifically reliable, resulting in creating the new Red List. Communicating with a lot of people, -especially in large scale surveys of amphibian species conducted worldwide- Dr. Stuart developed the wildlife conservation framework and has continued doing practical activities.
