Education is extremely important as the foundation for social development. Regional data on elementary education and literacy rates show a considerable gap in opportunities to obtain education, which should be equally available to all people. Overcoming poverty requires efforts to be made to reduce the gap. In that regard, developed countries need to provide more support.	教育は社会発展の礎をつくる重要な要素である。初等教育率と識字率の地域別データは、公平であるべき教育の機会に格差があることを示す。貧困を克服する上では、この格差を縮める努力が重要であり、先進国のサポートが望まれる。
